This is a nice little lantern. It is very bright and you can remove two lights to use as flashlights from the sides. The overall unit can take batteries or is rechargeable with USB, however the removable flashlights require you to add batteries if you want to use them on their own. I was a bit surprised by that, if the main lantern can work with USB charging, why wouldn't the rest of it?It has different modes including a red light, but I'm never going to use that. I got it just as a light to use while camping and it'll work great for that. I especially like the removable lights since they are magnetic and have a hanging hook on them. You could use it to run to the bathroom, hang it in your tent, etc. Many possibilities and it's very versatile. Just wish the entire thing was rechargeable. I hate wasting batteries.
