The material stretches very easily. I applied this to my daughter and had dry hands generating literally 4 hits. My hands weren't THAT dry which was disappointing. She tried them on and the seams around her thumb came undone. She is 3 1/2 years old and I bought her a size 3-7 which was large but not terrible, she will grow in it (if they don't fall apart first). Got light blue to match her Cinderella costume and the color is ok (more seafoam green than blue), not perfect but good enough. In general, for $ 8 I will save and cut the seam.
