Such a cute toy! Bright colors, solid construction, lots of fun play options (insert and remove pieces, pull the toy along) - the tail moves up and down and the circle spins as it moves which is absolutely adorable. I removed the star for two reasons: 1) the circle holding the shapes is a bit tricky to align properly on the base so it rotates when you pull it which causes my oldest child (4yrs alt) bursts into tears in frustration a few times) and 2) there are only 3 shapes to fit in the shape sorter, which I should have realized when I bought it, so I guess it's my fault - I wanted a little more variety . The side you're removing the pieces from makes it pretty easy to pop the pieces in and out instead of sticking them through the mold holes, so parents might want to know about that. I don't mind that as my 12 month old finds this a pretty fun activity in itself - the 'light side' as my husband calls it. Overall this is a great toy that I would buy again and I love that both my older child and 4 year old like it.
