Bought one of these to compare with my Under Armour Heatgear Flyweight T-shirts (which in fairness cost at least 50% more).COLORHoly cr---p! I nearly jumped backwards when I opened the package. The color (LSL 148a Green_Yellow) is INCANDESCENT. WAY brighter than it looks on screen. It appears woven from fibers dipped in toxic nuclear waste, or maybe Kryptonite? People a half mile away shield their eyes to avoid being blinded. If you want to be visible, this is your shirt.P.S. The label expressly warns of potential color bleeding, so this will be washed solo or with similar colors (if I can find any, lol).FITSize Small runs true to US size. Fits about the same as a tapered UA, not quite as trim as an Icebreaker slim cut style. It's a clean, slightly tapered pattern that looks slimming due to the vertical black slashes. I'm already skinny so don't need that, but it's a flattering look.FABRIC4-way stretch, fairly breathable, soft hand, feels similar to UA's fabric.CONSTRUCTIONGood intentions, so-so execution. All the seams are chain-stitched, flatlock style to avoid friction. BUT. the stitching was carelessly done. Many loose thread ends and one chain stitch ran right off the fabric and ended in mid-air. This is all on the inside so it's not visible, but it doesn't bode well for longevity. You get what you pay for (or rather, you don't get what you didn't pay for, lol).ODOR CONTROLHaven't worn it for a run/workout yet so don't know how stinky it will be. UA is terrible. after two minutes of light perspiration their shirts funk like you've done a week of hard labor on a Georgia chain gang. yuck. Icebreaker shirts can be worn for several hard workouts/ski days before they begin to smell, and they never get as stinky as a UA shirt, but even the lightest weight merino wool is too warm for running in July.SUMMARYDecent for the price, but probably wouldn't buy more.
