This formula is two in one. I was intrigued by the idea that it moisturizes and kills bacteria. The active substance is benzalkonium chloride at a concentration of 0.13%. It's also an alcohol-free formula. The formula is 97% natural and they define what that means for their business. It's vegan, free from parabens and dyes. It is also not abused and the plastic used in the container is 65% recycled. The bottle is thin enough to easily fit in a pocket or desk drawer. However, it is also large enough to be placed on a bedside table or in a bathroom. The cap is easy to rotate as it has an octagonal shape. It's a hard plastic that fits snugly to the bottle itself. The scent of eucalyptus and vetiver. It has an earthy, vegetal scent. Because of this, I think it might work well for men or women. After using it and rubbing it into the skin, it doesn't smell as strong as it did when it first came out of the bottle. The scent is quite pleasant and light. This is somewhat surprising considering it contains eucalyptus. I usually think of eucalyptus as a very strong scent. This eucalyptus is not as strong as others I have smelled and used in the past. However, it retains a pleasant aroma. The hand sanitizer in the lotion is not as thick as in the standard lotion. It definitely seems more diluted, which would be an ingredient in hand sanitizers. It is very easy to massage into the skin and leaves some moisture on the skin. It's more moisturizing than hand sanitizer alone, but less moisturizing than lotion alone I'd say. Overall, I'm happy with the taste and two functions in one. Because it's a thinner bottle, it's great for stockings or a gift bag for the holidays. The bottle has some greenery on it, giving it an almost festive look.
