Great adapter for old monitor to work with new devices.
I work on video surveillance equipment. Some newer DVRs only come with HDMI and DisplayPort connections. This allows me to use a standard monitor via HDMI. It would also be great to set up a game console or DVD/BluRay player to work on a computer monitor.
