Annoy the problem with the shelves / left door

I bought two of these a few years ago and loved them so much that I wanted another unit for another room. I really like that they're (mostly) solid wood, but the quality isn't exactly the same. The shelves feel more brittle than the ones I've previously bought, are poorly sanded/sanded and can't sit on the pin grooves when I want the left door to close fully. It may be because I made sure to follow all the steps given in the guide. There were no separate screws for the door magnets as stated in the instructions. Luckily there were four extra rear screws, which were more than needed, so I used those. It took a lot of fiddling to line up the magnets so they would land properly, especially on the left door. In one case I had to slowly enlarge the hole with a screwdriver to make it wide enough for the pin. My biggest disappointment is that the shelves, once inserted into slots to hold them in place, prevent the left door from closing fully. When I press I see slight marks on the door where it connects to each of the shelves. When I put the shelves all the way down I can close the door but the grooves on the bottom of the shelf no longer line up with the pins. That would be "good" BUT the shelves are so narrow two of them won. does not even rest on one of his pegs (and cannot support weight without falling). Now the shelves rest on pegs that don't line up with the grooves or butt against the back. So I'm not sure how sustainable they will be as I add and remove elements in the future. My guess is that either the hinge on the left door - pre-assembled to the wood - is either pushed too far into the cabinet or the pin holes on the left side panel were drilled too close to the door.
