For several months I have been trying to figure out why the hum from the alternator penetrated my speakers for the first 2-6 minutes after switching on and then disappeared. I tried to connect left and right in parallel - hum. Tried to connect only the left channel - hum. Only the right channel - buzz. The earth grounded - hum. Up and down pots scored - buzz. Added noise isolator RCA-RCA - reduced power, reduced rumble. I almost gave up thinking I had a bad amp or alternator. Finally, I tried to buy another LLC brand (I chose Scosche) and the problem was 100% solved IMMEDIATELY. Much cleaner sound. The device I received may have been a defective device but it was so annoying that I dropped the whole Kicker brand.
