A Simple Solution to Complex Problems

I have a guest room that was originally connected to an outlet by a switch. The wiring is very old and reconnecting it to the top switch doesn't work. To make matters worse, I have to run my router in the aforementioned outlet, so using the switch is killing my main internet - no bueno. In order to please the guests, I installed this system in another socket and connected the lamp to it. Using the supplied remote AND the spare remote I bought, I placed one on each side of the bed against the wall. Now guests can turn on the light upon entering the room or on either side of the bed without getting up. I could do the same for most rooms in my house as it's very easy. Note. I use smart lighting and can control the lights in each room from my phone, but 1) my guests don't have automatic access to my lighting network. 2) I don't always have my phone in my hand. It works VERY well and was VERY easy and all for a reasonable price.
