Review on 🎥 Epson Home Cinema 4010 4K PRO-UHD Projector with HDR - Immersive Home Theater Experience by Charles Fowler

An improvement over my JVC DLA-x590r in my opinion. The reason I am comparing the two projectors is that they are both very similar in many ways. Both projectors are huge, but the Epsom 4010 is much wider. The JVC is 10 pounds heavier at 34 pounds and under. Epson has some cool new features that JVC doesn't have. Both Epson and JVC are 1080p pixel shift projectors, although they both use two slightly different LCD and LCOS technologies, which JVC calls DILA. I prefer Epson JVC because Epson is much brighter at 2400lm and colors appear more vivid. Even though the JVC has a higher black level and has two 18Gbps HDMI ports. The Epson 4010 also handles HDR better thanks to a new and improved optical engine. Epson's menu system is easy to use and has 10 lens memory presets to accommodate a cinemascope's ultra-wide screen without an expensive set of wide-angle anamorphic lenses, as you can see in the images. This projector is ideal for home theater enthusiasts or those looking to place it in their living room/media room. I found placement of this projector very easy because I intentionally made a shelf at the back of the home theater room (no need for a projector mount). It was also very easy to adjust the image to fit my screen. It is interesting that the projector does not display full 4k HDR at 60Hz, only 4k HDR at 30Hz. I don't really care, but I found that when adjusting the display settings on the Roku Ultra box, it wouldn't accept 4k HDR at 60Hz, so it dropped to 4kHDR at 30Hz (which still looks great, btw). . I would also recommend for those who are really serious about picture quality to calibrate the projector properly to get the best possible 4k HDR picture. I think this projector is worth every penny for what you get compared to similar brands at the same price.
