Description of 🎥 Epson Home Cinema 4010 4K PRO-UHD Projector with HDR - Immersive Home Theater Experience

TRUE 3 CHIP PROJECTOR DESIGN – Advanced 3LCD technology displays 100% of the RGB color signal for every frame. This allows for outstanding color gamut while maintaining excellent brightness, without any “rainbowing” or “color brightness” issues seen with other projection technologies. 4K RESOLUTION PROCESSING – Advanced pixel shifting technology precisely controls three individual high definition LCD chips to parallel process millions of pixels. This new type of resolution enhancement technology results in an exceptionally sharp 4K visual experience. HDR PROCESSING – Full 10 bit HDR (3) color processing accepting 100% of the HDR source information to faithfully reproduce HDR content for an exceptional visual performance.Lamp type: 250 W UHE. DIGITAL IMAGING PROCESSING – Realtime 12 bit analog to digital video processing for smooth tonal transitions, while helping to eliminate banding, blocking, and other compression artifacts from the final visual performance. This powerful processor faithfully reproduces the source material the way it was intended to be shown. OUTSTANDING BRIGHTNESS – Capable of displaying 4K content at an incredible 2,400 lumens for both color and white brightness (2). This not only provides for a wider performance envelope but allows for an exceptional HDR performance. EXTREME COLOR GAMUT – One of the first commercially available home theater projectors capable of displaying the full three dimensional DCI P3 (4) color space. This extreme color performance is 50% wider than typical 1 Chip Rec. 709 projectors and allows for a truly professional level of color accuracy. EPSON PRECISION LENS – Designed for zero light leakage, all Epson Precision Lenses utilize a proprietary 15 element precision glass structure for outstanding image clarity and edge to edge focus uniformity. 3 AXIS MOTORIZED PRECISION LENS – After installation, you can shift the lens 47% left or right on the horizontal axis and 96% up or down on the vertical axis. You can also set the zoom and focus, then store all the settings in one of ten lens memory presets.

Large green spot appearing on projected image after 3 months

The projector worked great straight out of the box and produced a well detailed image. Unfortunately, after only 3 months of use, the projector shows a large green spot on the projected image. The stain remains across all media sources and projector settings. Replacing the HDMI cable did not fix the problem either. The green spot is especially noticeable in dark scenes or when the source is letterboxed. I contacted Epson for help with a problem. I will update my review accordingly if/when they…

Amazing picture quality!

An improvement over my JVC DLA-x590r in my opinion. The reason I am comparing the two projectors is that they are both very similar in many ways. Both projectors are huge, but the Epsom 4010 is much wider. The JVC is 10 pounds heavier at 34 pounds and under. Epson has some cool new features that JVC doesn't have. Both Epson and JVC are 1080p pixel shift projectors, although they both use two slightly different LCD and LCOS technologies, which JVC calls DILA. I prefer Epson JVC because Epson is…

Wow! Incredible picture.

This is a replacement for the 4000 which was released over a year ago. Although I don't have a 4000, the only differences I see from this newer 4010 model are from the specs: • Brightness 2400 lumens in colour/white instead of 2200 • Contrast ratio 200,000:1 instead of 140,000:1 Here are a few . One of the features of the 4010 lens: power that allows you to use the remote control to change focus, zoom and lens shift instead of using manual dials on the projector. To be honest, if you have a…

Great projector in this price range

I'm a home cinema enthusiast, I've had several high quality projectors over the years so I was keen to try Epson's new product. I've owned a few Epson projectors, but they were mostly small, portable units designed for business use. They've always been solid and offered great performance at a reasonable price, but I haven't had one in my home theater yet - the new 4010 is my first experience and I'm definitely impressed. First surprise. For me it was the size of the box - it's a big projector…
