Over the years I've seen Durham quality plummet. Not sure if using the cheaper one is a quality control issue. Materials or type of product packaging. Of the 10+ boxes I've received, at least 8 show some degree of physical damage, although the box it comes in looks normal. The main damage is in the box itself and for the most part I can fix it. This unit arrived with damage to the packaging as well as the plastic insert of the tray. It is difficult for me to explain this damage solely by the transport. I'm more inclined towards Durham making their products out of thinner steel. Also, my old plastic manhole liners are strong enough to stand on, while the liners currently supplied are very flimsy, cheap, and break easily.
