I really wanted to like these.had so many ideas for usage, but the first time I tired them it failed miserably, so I just threw them out.I followed directions and put one of the sticky pads on the back of a new lightweight clock I had gotten for my race trailer. I then "attached" the clock/pad to the door of my trailer. I got into my race car and started belting up and the clock fell off the door, hitting the ground and breaking the glass cover.worthless and now my brand new clock was destroyed also.Both surfaces were absolutely clean.one new plastic and the other aluminum.the pad stayed on the aluminum and let go of the plastic. Clock weighed less than a pound so no, it wasn't too heavy. There wasn't any wind, the door wasn't moving, nothing.the pad just didn't work.
