For many years I only used a bellows/accordion style piston (commonly available from Sears). However, whenever I move, the plunger remains (in the trash). There's no Sears next to me and it looked great. When it arrived I was initially disappointed that it came in two pieces. I imagined the pen falling apart in the middle while it was working and putting it back together would be a disaster; and second, it was hard plastic, not rubber, not even soft plastic. Although some people gave excellent reviews, I couldn't understand this technology.
