I've been needing a new water bottle for a long time. My old one is dented (doesn't stand up anymore) and honestly has always been difficult to clean. I've known the Stanley brand for a long time; It certainly has a longstanding reputation as a solid product! This is a strong and durable bottle with a classic look. You can use the top as a cup, although I probably won't (that's just me. The top/cup is fine). I love that both the lid and the cup are dishwasher safe. As far as cleaning goes, I love that there aren't a lot of tiny nooks and crannies to hide the funk in. It definitely works. I put coffee in it one morning just to test it and it kept it warm all day. I mainly use it for ice and water and it holds the ice in place for me. My only criticism is that I would have liked it to be a bit thinner. It doesn't fit in my car's cup holder, which is a minor issue. I hate it when my water bottles roll around in the car. Otherwise he does what he says!
