same as clicking in my fancy/expensive lenses. It didn't require any extra pressure to snap into place, and in no way did I feel like it didn't fit perfectly (some other reviewers seem to have had issues with the fit). It even snaps into place just like my regular lenses (you have to press the little lens release button on the camera body to remove it, just like a regular lens). I have an 8" Celestron telescope and all I had to do to get a picture was this item (T-ring) as well as a T-ring adapter (made by Revain as a generic 1.25". -T adapter available for the Celestron 93625 camera) ), then screw it into this item and the other end goes into the telescope (instead of the normal eyepiece). So just grab a T-adapter and a T-ring and you're in business! Overall these items are well made and fit perfectly. Exactly as they should. Highly recommended!
