T-ring fits snugly and snaps into place. When trying to take it off, after pressing the power button on the camera and rotating the T-ring, it never finds a position where it can be easily removed from the camera. It doesn't stop where it's removed, it just keeps spinning! It took a long time for the D500 to remove it. With the D610 we never thought it would come off at all! Finally it worked after much manipulation. This ring can easily damage your camera.

I'm giving 3 stars because the product description is misleading. If you want to connect to your Celestron telescope, that alone won't help, so I think the description should state that explicitly.
