Easy to Install, Remote Control Simple, now let's see how they hold up trail riding. UPDATE: Purchased March 2019 and installed. To turn them off but the remote stopped working I had to turn them off. It looks like the battery has rusted and eaten away at the plastic case it sits in, making the inside of the remote look ugly. I think they will just be flagpoles for now. I do not recommend the product, it only lasted 1 week and it has never been used outside the garage for anything other than testing. Despite the reviews, took a chance and failed. Too bad it has the potential to be a good product. LAST UPDATE October: One of the whips has stopped working. It looks like the solder came loose and the second cracked at the base. The remote control stopped working again last month. Not happy with these at all. As you can see in the photo, they don't protrude more than 8 inches above the roof. We only ride once a month. They don't seem as strong as they claim.
