Review on 🏭 Industrial Electrical Recessed Remodel Housing with Multiple Voltage Options by Marc Gallner

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money - BEWARE OF THE CANALS!

This bezel was ordered for Hyperikon 4" backboxes. They were for the second project I was making. The first ones required white screens which I believe were also from Torchstar, the difference being bright steel reflectors rather than white Baffles were.I thought the design would be identical. But it's not.I haven't had any issues with this finish.EXCEPT THE PINS.These tabs are designed to hold the pad in place, which they do. However, if you just stick them in, the pins dig into the recessed glass and practically don't come out once installed. I noticed this when inserting one to compare the look of a reflector to a white baffle. As I tried to remove it, it just wouldn't come out. It took a Herculean effort to pull it out. SAID IT. There is a solution. Wen If you have a good pair of electrician's pliers, squeeze the spring pins together so they don't stick out so far, which reduces the spring pressure on the glass. one where the finish fits right in the can but doesn't resist coming out. The white-studded Torchstar doesn't have the same tine system and didn't need this setup. Overall pretty good value for money. I could have given it 5 stars if it weren't for those poorly designed tines. You can spend a lot more on fake rings that don't look any better. Just test the install/remove pins before inserting 30 of them without testing. I'm just saying.
