This is a great jacket, it has vents on the sides to improve circulation when it is very hot like in Costa Rica. This jacket kept me absolutely dry even in the rain in the rainforest. THIS IS WATERPROOF! I also love the fact that it's tighter around the waist, it's not very flattering when you have a jacket that looks like you're wearing a box. This jacket fits so well, I'm 5ft 7in, about 135 and ordered a small. Another fact is that the jacket weighs almost nothing, it easily fits in a backpack without being bulky. We liked the jacket so much we ordered it for my husband as it wasn't waterproof.
