I ordered this jacket for a trip to Alaska. Although I usually wear small or very small, I ordered the medium one as I wanted to wear a layer underneath. It was perfect! I stayed dry throughout the ride and didn't feel constricted in my jacket. It also has a nice neckline that completes the overall look.

I really liked this jacket when I first received it. It's beautifully lightweight, soft in color and ideal for those windy or rainy days when it's warm. However, a few months after I washed it for the first time, the embroidered logo came out.

I wore it on a hike yesterday. After walking in the rain for over half an hour (not a downpour but I'd say it's still more than a drizzle to soak you in 30 minutes) the coat held up very well in the rain. I was completely dry inside. Very satisfied. As for the wind protection, I'm not sure, I was a bit cold in strong winds.

This is a great jacket, it has vents on the sides to improve circulation when it is very hot like in Costa Rica. This jacket kept me absolutely dry even in the rain in the rainforest. THIS IS WATERPROOF! I also love the fact that it's tighter around the waist, it's not very flattering when you have a jacket that looks like you're wearing a box. As with most outdoor sportswear, it really has to be ordered. I'm 5'9" and 185 pounds. I'm slightly overweight (mainly thanks to grad school and lack of sleep) but not obese in my imagination. I knew I had to spend a few bucks for a quality waterproof jacket and it was worth it. Although it's only supposed to rain in warmer weather I went up a size and can layer it underneath and wear it in colder weather. I prefer small to medium unisex tees and a medium size would work well with a single layer, but a large was a good choice for layers. The torso and sleeves are nice and long, ideal for cycling. UPDATE: It has zippers and I didn't even notice! If, like me, you run a lot and are prone to "hot running," you know what a godsend for pit zips.
