The best ice cube tray for making small (bubblegum shaped) ice cubes! If these trays are not full, the frozen cubes will fall out of the trays with minimal effort. I can empty (10) trays straight from the freezer, refill a standard sized ice bucket, and then come back to empty all the trays with stuck cubes again. (If you were patient, you could probably let the shells thaw for 2-5 minutes and throw any frozen cubes out of the shell the first time.) When making cubes, I quickly fill the shell with filtered water and then flip the shell. Hold a corner and pour out excess water. Other trays broke/broke due to all the knocks/bangs against the ice bin walls, brutal "over" twisting, hot water rinsing, etc. caused to remove frozen cubes; and must be constantly replaced. By the way, warm water freezes faster than cold water. Google the Mpemba Effect. Not sure if preparing hot water cubes in a plastic bowl is the best choice. In the past, to get clean ice cubes faster, we've poured boiling water into METAL trays.
