Our days, with so much of our stuff coming in from the Far East and such As much of it is destined to wear out soon after purchase, I was quite surprised when I put this bedside table together. It's got some pretty powerful hardware; with some screws over an inch long. The surface and supports are very durable. It is recommended that 2 people assemble it, but I managed to do it myself in less than 30 minutes. and I don't really have the "fix it" brain. You just have to be careful not to twist one side more than the other to avoid breaking the boards. The tissue drawer is a bit quirky but works very well and overall the bedside table is quite attractive; much more attractive than cheaper products. It even came with extra parts and equipment. However, for the handle on the drawer you will need a Phillips screwdriver (not included). I am so impressed with this product that I will likely purchase more products from this manufacturer/seller.
