Review on Archibald Blue Mid-Century Modern Accent Chair with Fabric Upholstery by Claudia Bryant

Normal chair, the dimensions do not correspond to reality.

My husband put this together in a few minutes. The color matches what I saw on my computer screen. However, due to the construction, I have a feeling it will only be moderately durable. My main gripe with this is that the seat cushion is light and only attaches to the seat with a small piece of Velcro. My toddlers are already obsessed with removing the pillow (which they do with ease) and when someone sits on it the front of the pillow lifts. I think I'll add some extra Velcro myself to keep the pillow in place. A small task, but annoying because it seems like a furniture company could easily do it and it would obviously be necessary when developing a product. I would compare this to a Target quality chair for the price I paid. UPDATE: I ordered this for our living room and was specifically looking for a chair that was the same size as our existing furniture. When it arrived I was surprised that it looked a lot smaller than our other items. I thought I made a mistake reading the description or that the item's color or some other shape made it look more dainty than our existing furniture. It still bothers me today so I took a tape measure and realized I wasn't wrong, the size given in the description is far from correct. Here's what the description of the chair says: Dimensions: 27.50"L x 28.50"W x 36.50"H, but it's actually 25.5"L x 27"W at its widest point at the tips of the armrests, although the backrest is only 24" wide and exactly 36.5" high. This may seem like a small difference, but if I knew the exact measurements I would not have ordered the chair and I would appreciate this information before purchasing it. I hope this helps someone else. The scale of the chair is more like an office guest chair, not something I want to relax in and watch a movie.
