Archibald Blue Mid-Century Modern Accent Chair with Fabric Upholstery Review

Very nice chair. I bought this as a table stool alternative for a modern wooden table. I agree with the reviews that this is not the most comfortable chair ever made but it is way better than some desk chairs. It feels firm but softens with use. Maybe not the best for lounging and watching movies but perfect for work and it looks so nice in the room. Color and style are great! Little footprint. I actually bought orange first and then ordered blue for another room.

We bought these for our office knowing they would rarely sit in them. Other reviews are right - they are quite stiff and uncomfortable. I also don't know if they can be hacked. Delivery took about a week but very acceptable considering the distance (from California to New York). I didn't find it to be as difficult to assemble as I thought, given the "warning" in the instructions that another adult must be present to assist; I am 66 years old and was able to use the back cushion by myself. There is very, very little space in my apartment. Our living room is the size of a small bedroom. (screams). My husband put this together in a few minutes. The color matches what I saw on my computer screen. However, due to the construction, I have a feeling it will only be moderately durable. My main gripe with this is that the seat cushion is light and only attaches to the seat with a small piece of Velcro. My toddlers are already obsessed with removing the pillow (which they do with ease) and when someone sits on it the front of the pillow lifts. I think I'll add some extra Velcro myself to keep…
