Review on πŸ₯Ž Fielders Guard for Softball: Titanium Series by Schutt Sports by Bill Gomez

Expensive but worth it because my daughter loves it.

My daughter has been wearing the Ripit mask for performance since about 8th grade (now a junior) and is very happy with it, but the Schutt Titanium mask takes her to a whole new level! First of all, we chose the mask because of its light weight. Initially my daughter was a bit skeptical about the mask because the small bridge sticking out at the top center made it difficult to see, but the fit was so comfortable that she wanted to try it. Well, it only lasted one workout and she said she didn't even notice the bar anymore. Light and comfortable, it's worth the price. With this mask you can run, you can even try to move your head back and forth and it stays in place without shifting thanks to the comfortable adjustment of the straps. Her old mask had fairly tight straps to keep the mask from bouncing or shifting while throwing or running. The mask is also wide enough to comfortably wear goggles. The "Varsity" model is for high school kids and Schutt also has a steel version, so be careful not to accidentally get the wrong mask/size. Okay, now for the cons. Most masks use self-adhesive Velcro to hold the chin guard and padding in place. The adhesive doesn't hold when temperatures hit 90 degrees and high humidity, but I've found that a few zip ties can hold everything in place without sacrificing fit or comfort. Do not lose the chin guard or the mask will become unusable. Some children may not like the difference in vision compared to the Ripit mask.
