You have exceeded my expectations. I read reviews and watched videos. I figured they might be vulgarly cute for Halloween if they even worked properly in our inverted outdoor wall lights that turn on and off with a light sensor. They worked from day one, even without failures. When inverted, they evoke the appearance of a fairly bright, old-fashioned gas burner flame rather than the slower, lower flame of a candle. For a more realistic look, I make sure these bulbs are in fixtures that are well above eye level and/or under frosted curtains.
