Review on 🚰 Goulds J5S Shallow Well Jet Pump - 1/2 HP, 115/230V by Jose Ballard

First we had an old SIMMER 1/2 HP jet pump. for our shallow well. It was good enough but you couldn't shower and do laundry or wash and wash the car so we had to sway it all. The well eventually went bad, I think the hull cracked. I hooked up a new well and then hooked up a boiling furnace to see if the pressure was good. We got MAYBE 2.5/3 GPM. I wanted to score more so we decided to try GOULD and Wallah! 8 1/2 - 9 GPM! we love the pressure we always get! It's in the basement under our room. There's no insulation on the floor, just exposed floorboards and then carpet, so it's "noisy" compared to no noise before. The first few nights there was an adjustment, now I don't even notice it. As it only turns on at night when the water softener REGENERATES at 2:30am it doesn't really matter (or if someone is in the shower etc.). Tank to muffle the noise and make it more beautiful. Since the basement is cool, I think we're fine and not overheating. will be updated when I do to let you know.
