Heats up very well. My problem is that attachments don't stay attached. I bought it primarily for a round brush, but the mechanism that "locks" it to the handle is too shallow. So if you pull on it a little while drying your hair (to keep your hair straight) the brush will pop out. every time I think if you have fine/thin hair or maybe shorter hair than mine it might stick. But for me it's too annoying to use now and I'd like to know how the nozzle works before buying it, I would have realized that it's not a very smart idea. My husband is a smartass and swore I just didn't "lock him up" but after looking at it he wisely agreed with my assessment that it was a design flaw. I didn't send it back because it's mechanically fine, but it will probably end up in the bin once I replace it.
