We have two Australian Cattle Dog crossbreeds that are very intelligent and require a lot of interaction. This toy is a great addition to our repertoire of puzzle and feed toys and they really enjoyed playing with it. The most interesting thing is that although we're smart and used to playing games about food, we've actually only touched on the difficulty levels available (level 2 for now). The ability to gradually increase the difficulty of the game is a really neat feature that helps them keep busy and thinking. The toys are well made and durable and the seesaw is a good weight. We've been very happy with it so far and can't wait to see how the dogs can progress through the higher difficulty levels. Since our dogs have been playing with a lot of food toys, they naturally want to try and knock over the feeder to get food. The suction cups on the bottom help a bit with this, but we found it's best to just set the feeder out of reach on the coffee table. One of the dogs loves catching food in the air when the pellet is fired from above! Some really nice features: 1. It's connected via Wi-Fi so it can be turned on and off remotely. One of our two dogs has separation anxiety so we are always looking for ways to keep him occupied and distracted when we are away from home. Being able to use this on the go is exciting, especially in combination with the built-in camera. We haven't tried it yet, but it's not possible with the Bluetooth-controlled feeders we've tested either. The camera is also a nice touch to keep an eye on the dogs while you're away. With regular upgrades to the rocker arm and feeder, things are constantly being improved and new features are even being added. We bought the original version of PupPod and have been beta testers throughout the development of this version and it's amazing how many new features have been added, many of which are directly related to some ideas or problems we had. This was all achieved through software updates, so the feeder itself remained the same. This continuous support and development is really valuable.
