I bought this as I thought the glasses wheels were a great design. I can say that they do exactly what they are supposed to do: not much extra cold air gets into the room. Now some reviews complain about the sizing: it's really big, which is great for me as I usually have the opposite problem of most hats being too tight for me (23 inch head). If you have a small head, just skip this. since it is one size fits all. In terms of warmth, it's not the warmest hat I own, but as it does a good job of keeping the wind out, it might work better than expected. She's beautiful in the cold. If your region is moving into the 20's I'm not sure this will be enough. I bought the gray to avoid the traditional black and it looks nice.
