When I received the package the lid was folded and seemed quite flimsy. In fact, it didn't seem much thicker than the one I had, which became inadequate around the freeze mark. I put it on and you could immediately tell the difference. I've worn it in temperatures as low as 25 degrees Fahrenheit (-4 degrees Celsius) and expect it to offer comfort in cooler temperatures. It covers everything well enough and is very comfortable without adding bulk under a helmet. Highly recommended.
