We used Comcast Blast high speed 150Mbps internet. Using our 3 year old SBG6782-AC we got 170Mbps on our wired desktop and around 65Mbps on my phone. Our Comcast was upgraded to 400Mbps, but only 270Mbps on desktop due to modem rating of 343Mbps. So I ordered this new SBG8300, received it the next day and switched. The photo shows my desktop speed and my mobile speed test shows 192 Mbit/s download. Our download speed has more than doubled from 13 Mbps to 29 Mbps. The modem is very easy to set up with Comcast - just plug it in and go to the Comcast website to activate it. The Surfboard Manager app (on both Android phone and iPad) makes it easy to rename SSIDs and change passwords so all our smart devices just reconnect. Expensive but worth it.
