I love these mugs. We bought the blue one for my daughter 9.5 years ago and we still have it. they hold up well. As with all valved cups, anything drunk in the cup can remain between the valve and the mouthpiece, causing a spill but nothing substantial. My 18 year old boy has a very good hand and loves to throw things. He throws his cup and sometimes knocks out the faucet. But this mug is very easy to wash which is very important for me.
