I never knew what I needed until I got it. My laptop is one of the largest and heaviest ever made and it's putting this thing to the test. Thick materials are great. But you have to pay attention to the focus. As long as you do that, it's actually pretty durable. It's also easily adjustable. The only thing I would complain about is the mouse pad. In fact, it's not fixed to the tablet. But actually it's not a problem. Also, it's great to have two fans. They are pretty quiet and generate a lot of heat, which is better for your computer. I recommend this item.
