I hope my video and photos will help others decide if this product is right for your use case. I've been playing with it for a few days now and feel like I'm living in a James Bond movie. HahaIt detects Wi-Fi signals very effectively. But it does little to recognize the recording camera. Maybe I need to know more about the setup but haven't been able to detect a camera with it yet. However, I love this product. It would be very helpful if it could be configured to recognize the camera so we can check hotel rooms or public toilets.
