No more night blindness!

My wife always turns on the bathroom light when she has to leave in the middle of the night. It always wakes me up because I sleep on my side, facing the tub, and I'm a bit sensitive to light, so I took a chance when I saw this article pop up on a best day. I'm glad I did. It's fairly light and the underside where you put the batteries gives off a bit of cheapness, but once set up it does the job. Ever since I put it on the counter in our bathroom, I've slept peacefully all night. The light isn't that bright. You can't read it, but it's bright enough that you can see everything you need to get the job done. If it doesn't detect your movement for a while (around 15 seconds), it will turn itself off, which can leave you in the dark if you're in the middle of surgery, but a hand gesture or any other part of your body, it will again turn on. The light has three settings: off, on. and motion detection. I suppose you could use a switch if you're using it for an emergency light, but for the most part you only need to leave it on for motion detection. If the light is already on, it won't come on, which is good. However, it is unclear how long the batteries will last. Requires three AA. Since the light is an LED, I'm guessing the battery will last a long time, but the circuitry needs to stay active to detect movement, so it's really not that easy. The time will show. If you have areas in your home where people sometimes wander around in the dark, this is probably a good article.
