Lucky Bedding

I bought this comforter and the pink comforter at the same time, everything was the same except for the price, I think the pink was $2.00. $3 less but that was the only difference. The duvets came on different days(?) The aqua duvet arrived first so I opened it up and checked, everything was fine so I hung it up to air for a couple of days and put it on the bed. good to go A few days later the pink duvet arrived but as I had already done whatever it took to make sure everything was as it should be with the aqua duvet I just left it in a sealed bag and for now put in my closet. Time. When I opened my closet door 3-4 days later, I was almost knocked out by a strange smell that I can't describe, and it was coming from the pink comforter that was still in the bag. I took it out of my bag and hung it up, making sure to spray it thoroughly with sanitizer spray for a couple of days and the smell eventually disappeared, but then I realized how TERRIBLE the quality of the pink duvet was compared to the sea green. Blanket from the same company! The seams are uneven, the threads are sticking out, the quality is just miserable. I will say that the colors of the sea green and pink are beautiful. To be honest, I didn't buy these duvets because of their quality, but as "disposable sheets". I'm not sure if other people had the same problems I had during the pandemic, but quarters were scarce so I couldn't wash my clothes, sheets and blankets when laundry needed doing, so I'll admit that I did Bought blankets with intention of throwing them away when they can no longer be revived with fabric fresheners (I have fur babies that shed and are a bit smelly). To be honest I mostly bought these duvets based on the colors I like so I think I got what I wanted in that regard. I still have the Aqua duvet and it's holding up like a champ so maybe just go with the Aqua?
