I actually love these socks, they are warm, comfy and very well padded. The one downside is the size range of 9.5-14(or 15 I can't remember). I wear a size 11 and they are a bit baggie. Fortunately I have a son who can make good use of them. I did wear one pair last night and they warmed my feet well. I did NOT get to try with shoes but I can tell they would be good. Medium padding for those who ask. If they changed their sizing I would DEFINITELY buy more. It was a 4 pack and I got coffee I believe, boxed and wrapped in a plastic tube type wrapper, presentation was good if that influences. I would guess NOT a sub zero sock for working in frigid temps but they would be great for normal work and for people with circulation issues for warmth too. They DO NOT itch
