Great compact device
I was thinking about buying this device to set it up as a SAMBA server for my home network. Finally pulled the plug and I'm so glad I did. The processor is more than adequate, as is 8GB of RAM. It features a very fast 256GB NVME SSD and a bay to add a 2.5" or 3.5" hard drive. The optional SATA cable, power cable, and hard drive mounting screws are located inside the case. Brilliant. I installed a WD RED NAS hard drive, then installed Fedora Linux 28 and Samba on an NVME drive and it works fine. I'm a lucky tourist.
