We bought these on a whim for our 1 year old son who hardly wore shoes. He's only been running for a few months and they offer excellent protection for his feet while remaining very flexible and comfortable to walk in. They go out a lot, but they're great for most purposes. We had a pair of sneakers for our daughters which were great quality and durable but for the price I would go with these. They have held up great for a fraction of the cost of name brand shoes and are really cute.
