It's a simple device
Anyone looking for a simple and convenient scanner without drivers and additional software will like it. Just plug in the office, notepad, access or excel spreadsheet and open it to scan the information that has a barcode and is available. I use it to scan hard drives and other devices serial numbers into an inventory excel spreadsheet and it worked fine.
