Absolutely normal! on jewelry boxes and organizers
They fit items up to 2" x 2". The size is the same throughout the lid; it doesn't taper upwards like some boxes do. The lining is solid color and although not neatly stitched, the whole gives a neat and collected look. One of the boxes had a small bead of glue on top which spoils the look a bit and the corners on the outside are a little ruffled and wrinkled instead of being neatly tucked in. Overall good value for money and well suited for most jewelery gifts - you would have to pay a lot more to get something more upscale.
