I'm surprised by the low ratings for this band but not shocked by their comments. Folks, you won't see the results you think you will see in 2-4 weeks! Scar pads take longer than new scars and twice as long as old ones, but this tape really works. I gave it 4* because it's so much better than scar-away pads. Now these pads are thicker and have a nice cloth backing but this tape. armpit to another. over 2 feet long. I used a whole pack of Scar-Away Pads and they balled up and fell off. Don't make me say they don't stick because there isn't a single drop of sweat or oil on my skin. This tape is best applied to a long scar and will stick better. I didn't take it off and took a shower! You can't with others. Let me tell you, getting him wet wasn't a good idea. The next time I took it off, some skin detached from what I thought was a drop of water. Now I always make sure it's 100% dry. The tape is also easier to wash and dry than individual pads. My doctor saw me for a 2 month check up and was shocked. As with the other black guy mentioned, yes, there is some shading around the edges of the scar (it's still reddish-pink to me). I'm mediocre and hardly noticed until her comment caught my eye. My doctor says the scar looks incredible despite the darkening, he's 2 years old not two months old. I slept in these things and wore them all day. So the proof is in the doctor's words. I took off one star because they are very thin and once they are bent they are difficult to straighten.
