I would not advertise them as mouthguards for children. They are very thick and bulky. The depth of the piece fits well in my adult mouth at the level of my teeth. My kids are 4 and 8 year old girls and I had to trim their backs to even fit in their mouths. They are so low in the front my kids can't wear them. I even tried cutting off the front but they choke on it because it's still too much fabric for their little mouths. Would be a great product for adults. Comes with a nice compact storage case. Great product just not small enough for my kids.
