Easy to install, beautiful and warm.

I've had it for 30 minutes and I'm already in love. I'm sitting under my new roasted kotatsu as I write this review. I was visiting my friends in Japan earlier this year and fell in love with their kotatsu tables, so I knew I had to have one for myself when I came back to the States. I'm a very cold person in a house full of constantly hot people so I'll be using it year round. It came a day late but I think that's because the coronavirus has messed up delivery times from other countries. Shipping was free so I didn't bother. I installed it as soon as I got it! Very easy installation, just fold the legs, attach the cord and place the blanket of your choice before placing the table top. You don't have to buy those fancy and expensive kotatsu futons, I use a king size blanket from Target which works great. The table is bigger than I expected from the photo which is a bonus. Still fits perfectly in the center of my small bedroom and now I have a comfortable place to study and work. The table folds up so you can easily store it away when not in use. You can also set the heating warmer or colder. You may need a voltage converter to use this in your country. I bought a US/Japan 1000V converter for about $70. It heats up fairly quickly and the table itself is made from very sturdy wood with a finished top. It's a bit heavy to carry, but once you've set it up, it's no problem. Initially, the heater smells slightly. If you're using a blanket that's been washed with a nice-smelling fabric softener, it won't be very noticeable. This is an amazing product. If you're thinking of buying this kotatsu, do it!
