. The dog loved this bed. She was a 45-pound pit bull. I bought her two, one when she was a puppy and one when she was growing up. When she was growing up I had to put healing foam on the floor under her. But foam was cheap at Walmart. This girl loved her bed! We've had these beds for years! Fast forward to our current dog. He is 74 pounds. I ordered an XL and it looks more like a medium to large bed than an XL. I think it fits the measurements given, I didn't measure to tell. But really, my only issue with the bed is that he was able to pull the covers off and rip the styrofoam to pieces in a matter of seconds. Now I don't blame the manufacturer for my Furman being a complete mess. It could be a parenting issue, or maybe he just needs Jesus. But I would give this product 4 stars if the foam was a little cheaper.
