I got these lamps because I was tired of looking for a broken bulb under fluorescent lamps. I bought two boxes and overpaid for $75. My only consolation was that they would be much better than the old ones. They weren't worth what I paid for. Yes the problem with replacing the bulbs is gone but there were a few things that didn't suit me for the amount I paid. One of them was that they were weak. They didn't give off as much light as traditional incandescent bulbs. Even though the bulbs were far apart, two boxes of 4 filaments didn't do the same job as conventional bulbs with the same number. This is a bit ridiculous as the LED could be a lot brighter. I don't understand why there is no option to make them lighter or darker. It shouldn't be that hard or expensive to add. Next was that the patterns weren't "natural". I don't know if this is an artificial time instilled in me from years of observing light, but I know when you look at these light patterns they don't seem right. The slow model is too slow and the fast model is too fast. I tried to fix the problem by keeping both boxes connected separately, but I couldn't sync the templates properly. From time to time the tree is allowed to alternate between bright light and no light at all. Then there is the issue of colour. Most of the changing patterns are four-color. They go from green/blue to red/orange. It doesn't seem right. I don't understand why lamps with the advantages of LED without the limitations of conventional lamps limit themselves to being inferior to conventional lamps. The advantages are that they are likely to last longer than traditional ones, thereby helping to cushion the price. They are well spaced and appear to be collected together. If I had to do it again, I probably wouldn't buy these particular lamps.
