Review on HB24 Wireless Video Baby Monitor with Digital Camera - Night Vision, Temperature Monitoring & 2-Way Talkback System - White by Sara Adams

We bought this monitor when our 5 month old started rolling and getting stuck in weird positions and we couldn't tell what was going on on our audio monitor went. I felt instantly reassured knowing the difference between screaming in frustration while trying to sleep and "I'm stuck with my head awkwardly propped up, please help!" Black. We can see everything clearly. You can adjust the brightness of the screen (although I would have liked it to be dimmed a little as it does seem very bright at night when you're looking at the parent unit in the dark). We wall mounted it about 4 feet above and it works great. Assembly was easy, just one small screw and seems very secure. The buttons are clear and easy to use, and the phone is very portable, fitting easily in your pocket and has a small fold-out kickstand so you can place it on a surface or lay it down. It's smaller and lighter than my cell phone, which I like to carry around the house. It was one of the cheapest I've looked for (I think I spent $60 on it) and I think it's great value for money. The only issue we had with this monitor was that the signal got a lot worse after about a month. - It used to go into the backyard to do gardening while it slept, but it just started losing signal and beeping annoyingly when we walked down the stairs and to the other end of the house (our house is an average two-story house) . However, I contacted the seller and he replied after 11 days and immediately sent me a new parent unit. Good customer service and so far the new parent unit has worked well and the range has improved. I will update this review if the range decreases like in the previous case. Overall I really like this monitor and wish we could just buy it from the start instead of wasting money on an audio monitor. I figured just buying an audio monitor would save us money, but the peace of mind that video gives me is worth every penny. Great product for the price.
