This duvet is very soft and comfortable. :) It also has a different "type" of fluffiness on each side ("suede" aka shorter fluffy and "hair" aka longer fluffy), which I didn't realize until I read the details of the item read once before I write your review. While you can tell the difference if you caress it with your hands and caress it, it's not particularly noticeable if it's just lying on top of you while you're trying to sleep. But now that I know, I'll have more fun ironing each side in the future. :D It's a little thinner than I expected. I have a similar blanket that I got years ago that has served me as a bed sheet for the past few months (I have scratchy sheets and haven't had time to choose new ones) and now that it's getting colder I need a blanket again. But while I don't have time to look at the sheets, I figured it would be easier to find another fluffy comforter similar to what I have that I like than finding acceptably soft sheets. This one is a bit thinner than my old one, although my old one is a bit worn and a lot less blurry than it was originally. The stitching around the edges looks good and should be strong. Haven't washed yet but will update this after I do to add if there is any shedding or pilling and if it retains its softness and fluffiness over time. , but sometimes the elements say they should do/be what they are not. 🙃 So I think it should be good, but I'll add an update anyway.)
